I wanted to give you all a heads up about an awesome opportunity to expand your gardening knowledge. In about two months, we will be starting our annual "Community Ed Gardening" class for Nebo school district. You may go to www.nebo.edu to view the info and get signed up. This will be our second year of the class, and my sidekick, Mike Allen, will be there to help teach the class. It will go for at least 8-9 weeks. Most of the sessions will be held out in the greenhouse at Landmark High School, one of the nicest, if not the nicest greenhouse setups in the district. We will cover everything to do with gardening from, garden plans to seed germination to transplanting to bugs to diseases to fruit tree pruning to actually being able to grow some of your own starts in our greenhouse, and much much more.
Don't be bogged down by the winter duldrums, get off your couch, potato, and come grow with the best, after all, gardeners know the best dirt.
Come by the schools greenhouse anytime at 612 South Main in Spanish Fork Utah, it is conveniently located behind the High School across from the New Spanish Fork Rodeo Grounds Arena.
See you in the greenhouse
Greetings from The Garden's Edge. We are back in action here and ready to help you with all your gardening needs. Sorry for the long absence, but life's challenges sometimes cause us to step back and evaluate whats most important, and at the time, family took precedence over all.
Nonetheless, we are back and ready to move forward with gardening at it's best.
It's been a snowy December, and though the month is close to it's end, January brings with it a whole lot of information on getting ready to bring in spring with high expectations of having the best, most productive garden on the block.
So, get ready for an eventful next two to three months preparing to get your hands dirty and your knees worn out, all in the name of "Love for the garden".
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and may your new year bring with it success in not only the garden, but in life as well.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
